Antes de hablar de cine, ¿has visto estas películas?

Hace unos cuantos meses me encontré con este post (bastante antiguo) en Kottke: Watch these movies, then we can talk (que en realidad contiene un link a otro post de Jim Emerson, pero que me da un rato de pereza volver a enlazar (y que por otro lado podeis seguir vosotros fácilmente)).

Consiste en una lista de películas, sólo que en este caso la excusa de hacer una lista es que es el canon de las películas a las que normalmente se hace referencia, así que supuestamente es necesario ver estas películas para "poder discutir con propiedad sobre cine".

Lo que me ha gustado es que Kottke ha reproducido la lista y ha marcado las películas que ha visto (Lo cual, teniendo en cuenta que Kottke tiene a los posts cortos, hace que esta vez sea largo). Voy a repetir esto, no con la intención de compararme con Kottke, o saber si alcanzo el nivel de cinematográficamente cultivado, si no para ver cuantas conozco:
