Mercurial made easy
mercurial: Volatile; erratic; unstable; flighty; fickle or changeable in temperament.
Considering how much does it fits with my temperament, it makes sense for me to be a Mercurial fanboy. (I never noticed before that they have choosen the name in such a sarcastic way: usually programming tools are scared to mention anything but stability).
Very often what makes a OpenSource tool to succeed or fail, is good documentation. I have just found a quite visual and entertaining introduction to Mercurial:
