Mr Scruff
I'm not so much into that kind of electronic music that it's supposed to be played smoothly. I usually think that rithmic music is made for being played loud and dance. But maybe I am wrong. Or maybe I am getting a little bit old.
At least that kind of music usually fits to parties, as background music while people chatters on top of it. Isn't it? There are trendy restaurants that had a DJ live, playing while you dine. How bizarre!!
Here it is a DJ Session (4 hour session) from Mr Scruff. He is an mancunian DJ with a love for tea (he owns a shop and blends tea) and black-jazzy-caribean sounds. I do like both stuff as well, how whouldn't I be interested in him?
Mr Scruff live DJ mix from Potterrow, Edinburgh, Friday 4th December 2009by Mr Scruff
Note, the first hour is mostly jazzy and caribean (with some latin touches) music. If you are more into electronic, start in the second hour. And also, as the session advances it is more, and more uptempo. So go close to the end for the real action...
