My Bloody (& Noisy) Valentine

I have just discovered (I am not so much into searching for this stuff, I just happen to find that by chance) the Vimeo account of somebody that takes videos in many concerts in the New York area: Acid Marshmallow II (Searching on Vimeo shows that the guy has multiple personalities: Many Acid Marshmallows)

Among other interesting videos, the guy taped the My Bloody Valentine 2009 Tour:

my bloody valentine live at all tomorrows parties pt. 1 (catskills, ny) september 21st, 2008 from Acid Marshmallow II on Vimeo.

Notice that as soon as it starts, the camera mic is not able to keep with the loudness...

A couple of interesting facts:

  • louder does not mean cooler. Got it, Kevin?
  • Doesn't worth taping a concert too close to the stage. (Well, it probably doesn't worth taping a My Bloody Valentine concert at all with a home camera).

If somebody feels curious on how could this (unnecesary loud music and the inability of cheap digital cameras to tape such loud sound) be taken to the xtreme, there is another video of the same concert:

my bloody valentine live at all tomorrows parties pt. 2 (catskills, ny) september 21st, 2008 from Acid Marshmallow II on Vimeo.
