Putty & Windows7 problems: Fix, No Putty

Suffering an annoying problem with PuTTY under Windows7 ? PuTTY bug unclean-close-hang (This problem happens unfortunately very often, my connection drops very often). And no, KiTTY does not solve the problem either... (even if it behaves somehow milder).

And the problem is quite annoying (it could keep you from using the computer for a while, and it heats up the CPU). What do I do?

What I do is, use Cygwin's OpenSSH port, inside MinTTY (which is a skimmed down version of PuTTY, never the less).

This way I have the look and feel of PuTTY, and no problem in case the network drops (OpenSSH does not even complain in the case). Besides, I also have handy access to other Cygwin network utils (rsync is invaluable when doing remote shell!).
