Wes Anderson deconstructed
I have been highly amused and quite impressed by Wes Anderson movies. But what really has impressed me is the meticulous and clever description of all his different techniques and methods that Matt Zoller Seitz has made.

On the first part, I do agree that the there is an obvious influence of Anderson in many modern hipster-oriented movies:
Pretty clever an detailed description of the Scorsese's style: the slow motion, overhead shots and 'emphatic dolly'. Yeah, because Wes Anderson is very much influenced by Scorsese:

Disclaimer: I did not had such a high opinion on Wes Anderson cinema (I just consider he has 3 great movies) but this detailed analysis at least has proven me the movies are much more complex than I initially thought. And I am impressed by all the effort that Wes Anderson puts in each movie.
