When Flash is not that fast (II)

Sometimes is necessary to think out the box for the problems: Flash is becoming so slow on my computer that I am not able to enjoy films from Vimeo (and that is quite too bad, since those are usually the only ones worth watching). And I thought the problem was to try to make Flash work better...

But @iagor suggested me a completely different approach: stop using Flash and use a FLV player: VLC for example. The only thing that @iagor was wrong was... VLC does not work with Vimeo URLs directly (I wonder if that is possible: yes it's possible but I still don't know how).

But I could do it another way: Using Firefox+GreaseMonkey+Free Youtube! (Despite of the name, 'Free Youtube!' works also with Vimeo, DailyMotion and some other sites).
